We are a family run business based in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire.

Robert took over an existing greengrocer back in 1972 and Roberts Fruit was born, providing quality fruit and vegetables to the locals. The shop moved to Croxley Green in 1990.

In 2015 the shop underwent a complete refit and was reborn as Grocer on the Green, with a small wholesale business set up on the side.

In 2016 Robert's son, Paul, took over the business and expanded the wholesale business to what it is today.

Paul prides himself on supporting the local community, working closely with the local schools to offer work experience opportunities and supporting local charities.

In line with our ethos on supporting the community, where possible, we always try and employ locally.
